He Won’t Leave Us There

God is a miracle working God! When you’re feeling burnt out and discouraged, like nothing is moving and breakthrough may never come, I want to encourage you; it is in those seasons when the most work is being done. It’s a work you often can’t see or measure as it’s happening under the surface, but that is a work that is priceless. It is a work that is ultimately going to lead you out of the dark place you’ve been into a place that is immeasurably above and beyond what you could ask or imagine.

That is how our God is. He loves us so much, He won’t leave us in the dark, even when we don’t realize we’re in it. Often we don’t even realize we need movement or change and it’s not until we go through a really dark season that we realize we were just complacent where we were and we wouldn’t have taken a step forward had we not went through the dark season. He doesn’t want to leave us in a place that is less than what He has for us; What He has for us is so much more!

“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. ” (Ephesians 3:20-21)

“I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.” (Isaiah 42:16)
